Monica Jcobs Birwinyo is a Ugandan actress and philanthropist born and raised in Kampala.
She studied Procurement and supply chain management at Makerere University Business School but has had training in acting and script writing by Maisha Film Lab, Uganda film festival and Ibua Publishing
Begun her acting career in 2012 and has featured in a number of projects. In 2012 Monica became one of the founders and a director at Baba Yangu Foundation, a Non-profit organization that works with street kids and vulnerable communities of Kisenyi, Kataza and Acholi Quarters based in Uganda and the UK with communities on mental health awareness and human rights. She is currently dedicated to working with and impacting positive change to communities using every available platform, art mainly.
