Film Hackers is a platform aimed to inspire, motivate and boost the Ugandan film industry.
The Film industry comprises of quite a number of professions including writers, actors, actresses, cinematographers directors of photography, photographers, Sound recordists, Animators, colourists, copywriters, music composers, costume and set designers among others.
Our goal is to give Uganda’s film artists a platform to meet and share ideas as well as learn from each other. The platform also highlights successful stories of people in the film industry and their take on its future.
"Our vision is to create a sustainable structure in the industry that can create employment opportunities for the young people in the various professions in film. As Uganda and Africa overall, we shall tell our own stories better, grow our cultures and promote our country through film."
