Alpha Kiyaga is a film maker who specializes in videography of documentation and Television. Production. He worked with MGS video right out of the University which gave him a platform to exploit lots of challenging projects like the MTN marathon, Zain Africa Challenge.
In 2012, Alpha opened up his own company known as Bridge Films so as to bridge a gap between the clients and the creatives. He focused on bringing change to the videography scene. Bridge Films is a fully established production house that creates engaging videos for Nonprofit Organisations and cooperate companies like World Vision, Enabel, Save the Children, UNDP and many more.
His journey has curbed lots of challenges along the way for instance the extensive labor turn over in the industry which deters the progress thus a gaping hole for training expenditures for new employment. The tax expenditures on importing equipment is extensively high which has run lots of people out of business and a major setback for the already existing ones.
Alpha cautions the upcoming generation to exercise patience, creativity and honesty as a yard stick to exploit the growth of their careers and profit maximization. He calls upon the government to regulate the tax rates on the equipment imported and also on the foreign content at the expense of the local content.
