Okuyo Joel Atiku Prynce is a Ugandan actor, photographer, film maker and a lecture. He into the drama industry from a tender age acting school and theatre dramas. The movie Battle of the Souls walked him through the doors of his breakthrough to stardom, from there he has been partaking different projects in the film industry, commercials and music videos both locally and on an international basis.
Through his walks of life he has been exposed to different cultures and ethnicities which has helped him transition into their way of style and production. He not only gets to upscale the Ugandan culture to the outside world but he gets to borrow a leaf on how to improve the Ugandan Film Industry.
He has worked with different talented world class Directors like Michael London, Gabriel Range, and fellow country man Matt Bish. He has experienced challenges along the way as an actor and film maker. His focal point lies with the local producer’s practicality on content creation which has failed to attract union labor and government support.
He calls upon the Ugandan film industry to concentrate on improving each other as this will make the industry flourish thus attract more creators, actors and directors into the industry. He advises the upcoming new talented generation to use creativity as their weaving basket so as to be able to tap on the success of the Film Industry. Creativity is the most eloquent and Optimistic language of the great minds.
